Semenyo to Arsenal?

Arsenal could make a winter raid to sign Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, according to Football Insider.

The Gunners bolstered their attacking department last summer with Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze.

Still, there is speculation that they could pursue a marquee left winger and it is claimed that Semenyo is a possible target.

Football Insider cite that Semenyo is widely expected to leave the Cherries this winter due to his £65 million release clause.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are front-runners to sign him, but the Gunners can’t be ruled out of the transfer race.

The Gunners have been admirers of Semenyo in the past. He has been in fine form with six goals and three assists this season.

Semenyo is primarily a left winger and may not need to be convinced to join Arsenal, given he is a boyhood Gunners fan.

It is left to be seen whether Arsenal make a move for his services. It seems unlikely unless one of Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli leave.

Both players have been in good form in the early months, and the Gunners may ideally wait until the summer to consider a new left winger.
