Bournemouth 0-1 Everton – Grealish gives Toffees the win

Jack Grealish’s late winner saw Everton end Bournemouth’s unbeaten home record in the Premier League.

The Toffees were up against it for large periods but found the cutting edge when it mattered to make it five games without a win for the hosts.

The Cherries have slid to 14th in a congested midtable after an excellent starts, while Everton are now ninth.

Antoine Semenyo had the best chance of the first half but was denied by a fine save from Jordan Pickford after bringing down a deep cross.

Everton striker Thierno Barry headed against the woodwork as his wait for a goal goes on before the visitors did grab a goal.

Grealish led a counter-attack, was allowed the space to cut inside and hit a shot that deflected in off Bafode Diakite.

Only Arsenal have taken more points on the road since David Moyes returned to the club and Everton held on for three more.

That’s three wins in four for Everton, who host Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
