Cross-Platform Writing App Ulysses Gets Liquid Glass and More in New Update

On the Mac, iPhone, and iPad, the app now features the design language Apple sprinkled throughout the latest software releases.

But the update is more than just skin deep. One of the big highlights is improved keyboard navigation. For example, you can now use the left/right arrows on the Mac or iPad to switch between panes. There are many other keyboard shortcuts you can also take advantage of.

Substack fans will be happy to hear that you can now copy text for use on the platform. Most formatting is supported but there are certain limitations like no images.

When you want to share a project with others, they can be shared as a zipped archive. It can also be used to create a manual backup or simple project templates.

Mac users can now also control the app using Spotlight. Some of the actions you can do include create a new sheet, add images, and more.

Ulysses is a free download now on the App Store. You’ll need a subscription to use the app.

That’s available for $5.99 per month or $39.99 yearly.
