Podigy Focuses on Customization and Features Live Transcription

My favorite feature is the wide-ranging customization options. In the mini player, you can pick and arrange the playback controls. You can also select what tabs appear in the main player like chapter, description, or transcriptions.

The Library view can also be adjusted with a number of options.

Whether you listen to dozens of podcasts, or just a few, the app was made to be easy to use. All new episodes from subscriptions appear in the New tab. Select an episode to add to the Queue screen.

All queued episodes are downloaded in the background so they’ll be ready to play immediately. Just drag to reorder. You can also create a custom filter to listen to exactly what you want. The app looks great on iOS and iPadOS 26 with a Liquid Glass Design and more.

When it’s time to listen to an episode, there are a number of other great features you use. Playback speed can be set globally or per podcast and Trim Silence can save time without affecting clarity.

The usual Sleep Timer is superpower with some smarts. It pauses when you pastor playback. But if you’re still awake when it ends, just tap play on the headphones and the timer extends without needing to reach for your phone.

Visual learners will also be happy to hear that the app will automatically transcribe episodes as the play, even highlighting what’s being said as you listen. Transcriptions can be shared with friends or any AI.

Podigy is a free download now on the App Store. It’s for the iPhone and all iPad models.

There is an optional Podigy Plus subscription available for $24.99 per year or $5.99 monthly. Subscribers will be able to sync their library and stats across all devices, the ability to bring you own audio files, full episode transcript, and per podcast settings.
