Chelsea are reportedly keen on landing Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old was a key player for Lazio for many seasons before opting to move to the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hilal.
Milinkovic-Savic has made a huge impact during his time in the Middle East, but he could be tempted to return to Europe.
The Blues have been his long-term admirers and could seek to add his experience into the squad, as per Corriere dello Sport.
Lazio are also open to re-signing the midfielder on a free transfer, but he could be tempted to pursue a different challenge.
It remains to be seen whether other Premier League clubs join the race for the Serbian. Manchester United were admirers of him too.
They considered him as a potential playmaking solution before purchasing Bruno Fernandes from Sporting in January 2020.
Fernandes has been a revelation and United will have no regrets.
