A few days prior to the actual event, HoYoverse will likely make posts on official social media accounts for the game, confirming the exact date and time of the event, as well as releasing key art for the event.

Nefer May Be A Lunar-Bloom DPS

One of the main subjects during the Version 6.1 livestream should be Nefer and her gameplay kit. The aforementioned leaks about Nefer have detailed her as a 5-star Dendro catalyst user, who specializes in Lunar-Bloom DMG. As such, she will operate somewhat like Lauma in Genshin Impact, though Nefer’s role is expected to be that of a main DPS.

According to the leaks, Nefer will scale off of her Elemental Mastery stat, and she will be able to convert Dendro Cores and Bountiful Cores into Seeds of Deceit. These Seeds of Deceit cannot trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon reactions, which may block her out of specific team comp strategies, depending on how you intend to play her.

Nefer can then absorb these Seeds of Deceit by executing a Charged Attack or special Charged Attack, called Phantasm Performance, which grants her one stack of Veil of Falsehood per Seed of Deceit. When she has three stacks, her Elemental Mastery is temporarily increased.

Phantasm Performance can be unlocked when she enters the Shadow Dance state via her Skill and has at least one Verdant Dew. This special Charged Attack does not consume Stamina. With her Burst, she can consume all Veil of Falsehood stacks to increase the Burst’s DMG. Additionally, all the party’s Bloom reactions will be converted to Lunar-Bloom.

Nefer will likely run well with Lauma and Nahida, as well as Hydro applicators to ensure Lunar-Bloom is triggered. There have also been leaks about Nefer’s signature weapon in Genshin Impact 6.1, a 5-star catalyst allegedly called Reliquary of Truth. The rumors say this weapon will grant huge offensive bonuses, like CRIT and Elemental Mastery, as well as perks for Lunar-Bloom DMG.

Another topic that will be handled during the Version 6.1 livestream is the character availability. HoYoverse doesn’t tend to reveal much; the company prefers to allow players to uncover the story, but the leaks have shown that the story may pivot away from Nod-Krai as an individual region and show more of its connection to Khaenri’ah.

We met Rerir in Version 6.0, who is one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri’ah and who is expected to play a huge role during the current year of content. There have also been leaks about another potential Khaenri’ah character in Genshin Impact 6.1, which may help deepen the game’s overarching lore. It feels like the game’s tone will get a lot more serious during the campaign moving forward.

Lastly, the Version 6.1 livestream will also likely detail all the events in the upcoming patch. The details about the activities are still a bit unclear, but there have been rumors of a free character reward in Version 6.1.
