Bournemouth will move second in the Premier League if Andoni Iraola’s side beat Fulham at home in the first top-flight match of the weekend on Friday.

The Cherries are unbeaten in five league matches but winless in two, drawing 0-0 at home to Newcastle and 2-2 at Leeds United.

The visitors lost 3-1 at Aston Villa on Sunday but victory would move The Cottagers level on points with their opponents.

Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi offered similar praise for Fulham’s options. “We know the way they want to play and we always have tough games against them,” the Argentinian told Bournemouth’s website.

“Even if they don’t find their main strikers, they will find a solution to hurt us and try to play the way they do. Hopefully we can make the game the way we want it.”
