Nicolas Jackson left Chelsea as surplus to requirements in Enzo Maresca’s squad and joined Bayern Munich on loan for the season, and he currently plays the role of the understudy for star striker Harry Kane. However, the 24-year-old Senegal international says he’s happy at the Allianz Arena and appears open to the idea of remaining there permanently.
“I’m very happy here, everyone welcomed me very well. I feel at home,” Jackson said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
“We’ll see what the future brings”, he added.
Interestingly enough, Bayern reportedly paid £15million to secure Jackson’s services for 2025/26, and they have an obligation to make the arrangement a permanent one under certain conditions. But if that doesn’t happen and he returns to Stamford Bridge next summer, he will remain under contract with Chelsea until 2033.
Jackson has played three times for the Bavarians in the Bundesliga and is yet to register a goal contribution. However, in the Champions League, he has one goal and one assist from two appearances.
