Brett Goldstein & Imogen Poots Star In Sci-Fi Romance On Apple TV+

Ted Lasso remains one of Apple TV+’s most popular television shows, and one of its biggest stars has returned to the service with a new movie. So far, the hit series has aired a total of three seasons, and after a lengthy period of much speculation, it was finally confirmed this year that Ted Lasso season 4 is in the works and set to debut in 2026.

All of You takes a very simple rom-com formula and flips it on its head, using its unique sci-fi aesthetic to reframe the way audiences think about love in the modern world. The story centers around two close friends whose relationship is altered when one takes an innovative test to determine who their soulmate is, throwing feelings into disarray when they’re partnered with a stranger.

All of You offers plenty of interesting commentary on how dating and romance have been molded by the pressures of modern technology, using two deeply human characters to explore what that means for society. It’s an incredibly moving story that hinges entirely on the palpable chemistry between Goldstein and Poots’ lead characters.

Goldstein also co-wrote the script for All of You alongside the film’s director, William Bridges. The project reportedly took over ten years to complete, with Goldstein referring to the movie as “[his] baby” by the time it was released (via Variety). The film bears much of the same overt sentimentality as Goldstein’s previous scripts on Ted Lasso and Shrinking.
