Supported by Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy, and Axar Patel with two wickets apiece, India bundled Pakistan out for 146 in 19.1 overs, as the last nine wickets fell for just 33 runs.
Chasing 147, India faltered early with Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, and captain Suryakumar Yadav departing cheaply. At 20/3, the final was delicately poised, but Tilak Varma showcased remarkable composure. The left-hander anchored the innings with an unbeaten 69 from 53 balls, steering the chase with maturity well beyond his years. Shivam Dube chipped in with a vital 33 off 22 deliveries, and together they stitched a 60-run stand that tilted the contest India’s way. Despite Pakistan’s Faheem Ashraf picking 3/29, India crossed the finish line in 19.4 overs, with Rinku Singh striking the winning boundary.
