Roma are growing increasingly frustrated in their pursuit of Man Utd winger Jadon Sancho and have now queried the availability of Chelsea winger Tyrique George, hoping to sign the youngster on a loan deal for the 2025-26 Serie A sieason. George, who appeared on occasion last year in the Premier League, may find first-team opportunities limited this season.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has informed Tyrique that he is free to leave if first-team football can be found, and the Blues are looking to loan the versatile winger.
Known by his teammates as “Evil Saka”, Tyrique George caught the eye last year but the arrival of Estevao appears to have slipped the 19-year-old winger down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
George came through Chelsea‘s academy and made his debut last season, playing 26 times for the Blues, and eight times in the Premier League, scoring one goal.
Chelsea are not ready to sell the player at this time, with loan deals being expected.
Roma are also still tracking Man Utd winger Jadon Sancho, but the Premier League side rebuffed the Italian club’s latest offer.
