Line-ups confirmed as Haaland not in squad for huge Premier League clash


Liverpool can extend their to 11 points at the top of the Premier League against Manchester City.

Arsenal’s pursuit of the Reds in the title race took a huge blow when they lost 1-0 to West Ham on Saturday and a victory for Arne Slot’s men at the Etihad would go a long way to putting one hand on the trophy.

Usually battling with Liverpool at the top of the table, the aim for City this time will be to strengthen their grip on the top four after Chelsea lost 2-1 at Aston Villa on Saturday night.

A huge blow to City’s chances as there is no sign of star striker Erling Haaland in the matchday squad due to injury.

Pep Guardiola has made two chances to the side who beat Newcastle 4-0 last weekend with Kevin de Bruyne and Jeremy Doku coming into the side.

Omar Marmoush looks set to take Haaland’s place in a central role.

Slot has made just one change to the side who drew 2-2 with Aston Villa on Wednesday, with Luis Diaz returning to the XI in place of Diogo Jota, who is named on the bench.
