Arsenal have confirmed Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard as their third signing of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have had a good beginning to the summer and they have already made three acquisitions. Norgaard has joined goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfielder Martin Zubimendi as the new signings in the squad.
The Dane has been a consistent performer for Brentford over the years and he was their captain in the last two campaigns. His leadership and experience should be handy behind Zubimendi for the number six role next term.
Arsenal are expected to continue their spending spree in the coming weeks and the focus could be on strengthening the attack. A marquee striker is the main priority, but the club are likely to bolster other positions too.
Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres and Chelsea winger Noni Madueke are presently the prime targets for the Gunners. The Gunners are reportedly pushing to sign the duo before the pre-season tour of Asia.
