Arsenal in Mosquera talks
Football Transfer Centre

Arsenal have made a fresh offer to sign Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera during the ongoing transfer window.

The Gunners are keen on landing a new centre-back, having missed out on the services of Dean Huijsen, who chose to join Real Madrid.

Personal terms have already been agreed with Mosquera over a long-term deal and the defender is also keen to move on from Los Che.

However, Arsenal still need to agree on a suitable transfer fee. Their latest offer of €10m has been immediately snubbed by Valencia.

The La Liga outfit are aiming for at least €20 million to part ways with the Spaniard. They have not given up on keeping him either.

His current deal expires in June next year. The Spanish outfit are trying their best to persuade the young centre-back to prolong his stay.

For now, Mosquera has not changed his stance. He is determined to make the switch to the Gunners during the current transfer window.
