Who Joins Jensen Ackles In Prime Video’s Crime Drama

Countdown is the latest crime thriller available on Amazon Prime Video, and its cast is led by some familiar faces. Amazon’s TV library is home to action-packed crime dramas like Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Reacher, Bosch, and more, making it the perfect destination for a series like Countdown, which utilizes a 24-like ticking clock format as heroes try to prevent a “Chernobyl-level event” in Los Angeles. Countdown’s early reviews praise the show’s pacing and action as well as the work done by the ensemble cast.

Countdown is centered around a task force assembled in response to the murder of a Homeland Security Agent, with each character bringing their own strengths and weaknesses to the team. With that in mind, the acting talent plays a tremendous role in how the series functions. Countdown’s cast includes stars of hit shows like Supernatural, The Flash, and Grey’s Anatomy, but with so many series available on streaming, it can still be hard to tell where you recognize a face from.
