Countdown is the latest crime thriller available on Amazon Prime Video, and its cast is led by some familiar faces. Amazon’s TV library is home to action-packed crime dramas like Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Reacher, Bosch​​​​​, and more, making it the perfect destination for a series like Countdown, which utilizes a 24-like ticking clock format as heroes try to prevent a “Chernobyl-level event” in Los Angeles. Countdown is centered around a task force assembled in response to the murder of a Homeland Security Agent, with each character bringing their own strengths and weaknesses to the team. Character: Amber Oliveras is a DEA agent willing to get her hands dirty in action-packed field work, and she’s brought on to the show’s central task force.
