Atletico Madrid are reportedly aiming to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson at the end of the campaign.
The Blues have struggled to find a reliable figure to lead the attack. Jackson has impressed in stages, but he has not been consistent enough.
The club are eyeing an upgrade on the Senegal star this summer and it is claimed that they could be willing to sell him for around €50m.
Amidst this, Superdeporte claim that Atletico have a long-term interest in Jackson and they could revive their pursuit when the season ends.
Diego Simeone‘s side bolstered their attack with the signing of Julian Alvarez from Manchester City last year. He has been fantastic for them.
The La Liga giants also recruited midfielder Conor Gallagher from the Blues last summer. The Englishman has been a key player for the club.
Atletico could be prepared to do business with the Blues again. We won’t be surprised if Jackson moves to the Madrid heavyweights in the summer.
