Arsenal are ready to part ways with Gabriel Martinelli during the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.
The Brazil international has had an average campaign with the Gunners and he has been inconsistent with his performances.
The club are actively looking to strengthen the left wing department and a new arrival could pave the way for Martinelli’s exit.
The Athletic claim that the Gunners could open the door for Martinelli’s transfer if they receive at least £50m for his services.
Arsenal have identified Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams as potential candidates for the left wing role.
Neither of those players will come on the cheap. The duo are likely to demand huge weekly wages and therefore an exit is necessary.
While Martinelli could head out, the London giants are in advanced talks to extend Leandro Trossard‘s contract until the summer of 2029.
A renewal could be announced over the next few days, as per reports.
