Confirmed line-ups as Palmer is left on the bench

Chelsea are heavy favourites to win the Conference League, but Enzo Maresca has made it clear the race for the Champions League in the Premier League is the priority with his team selection to face Djurgarden.

Djurgarden are playing in a European semi-final for the first time and, while Chelsea will want to avoid underestimating them in the first leg, Maresca has taken the opportunity to rotate his vast squad.

It is not a surprising move, given the Blues face a crucial game with Premier League Champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Here are the confirmed line-ups for a David v Goliath battle.

Djurgarden v Chelsea team news

Djurgarden

The hosts make five changes from the team that left it late to beat Osters last Thursday.

Goalkeeper Jacob Rinne and defender Marcus Danielson are among those to return for the Swedish side, having each recovered from the flu.

Djurgarden: Rinne, Danielson, Une, Kosugi, Stensson, Finndell, Gulliksen, Stahl, Nguen, Priske, Haarala.

Subs: Croon, Tenho, Bergh, Mulugeta, Manneh, Selfven, Persson.

Enzo Maresca has made eight changes from the Premier League win over Everton last Saturday.

Chelsea: Jorgensen, Acheampong, Adarabioyo, Badiashile, Cucurella, James, Dewsbury-Hall, Madueke, Fernandez, Sancho, George.

Subs: Bergstrom, Curd, Colwill, Chalobah, Gusto, Caicedo, Amougou, Walsh, Palmer, Neto, Mheuka, Jackson.
