Manchester United have been left impressed by Rayan Cherki‘s performances against them in the Europa League quarter-final, according to Utd District.
The Red Devils progressed to the last four of the competition following a stunning 7-6 aggregate win over Lyon.
Cherki was the stand-out performer for the French outfit. He managed to score a goal in both legs against United.
It is now reported that United were impressed by the output from the Frenchman, who is poised to leave Lyon.
Cherki has a release clause worth £25m for English clubs, but a move may not be straightforward by any means.
The attacker has the right to choose his next team while he is unlikely to depart without the well wishes of Lyon.
Cherki may also want the guarantee of Champions League football.
United can’t offer him that at the moment. They will need to win the Europa League to qualify for the competition.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also monitoring the Lyon graduate.
