Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is prepared to pursue a new challenge elsewhere during the winter transfer window.
The Dutchman has had a difficult career with the Red Devils, and he has yet to start a game under manager Michael Carrick this season.
Hence, there is plenty of speculation over his future, and reports claim that he could move at the beginning of the New Year.
Everton wanted to sign Zirkzee on loan during the summer, and the Toffees are likely to return for the Netherlands ace in January.
The Merseyside outfit won’t be alone in the pursuit. They can expect competition from Serie A clubs for the ex-Bologna man.
United have already started their hunt for a new marksman and reports claim that they could pursue a deal for Jean-Philippe Mateta.
The Frenchman was eager to leave Crystal Palace over the summer before a hamstring injury. He is expected to depart at the turn of the year.
