Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Bournemouth

Chelsea will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host Bournemouth in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Blues won their first two games of the league campaign and have since picked up only one point from their next three matches.

They need a strong response today and manager Xabi Alonso looks set to make several changes from the 3-0 loss to Brentford on the road.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Predicted Line-up:

Emiliano Martinez looks poised to start in goal for the Blues.

In defence, Alonso could go with Wesley Fofana, Maxence Lacroix and Levi Colwill as his back three against the Cherries.

Marco Palestra has fully recovered from a pre-season injury and looks set to make his Blues debut in the right wing-back spot.

Jorrel Hato is likely to start on the opposite end ahead of Pep Chavarria.

With Reece James and Moises Caicedo fully fit after their respective injuries, we expect the duo to feature in central midfield.

Alonso should go with his strongest attack with Joao Pedro now fit. Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers should start as the number 10s, with Pedro leading the line after a brief absence with a knee injury.

Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Bournemouth: Martinez; Fofana, Lacroix, Colwill; Palestra, James, Caicedo, Hato; Rogers, Palmer; Joao Pedro.
