Released back in 2010 for the Nintendo DS, Pokémon Black and White welcomed the beginning of Gen 5 with 156 brand-new additions to the Pokédex, as well as new features such as seasonal cycles, rotation battles, triple battles, hidden abilities, and fully animated Pokémon sprites.

Set in the Unova Region, the story follows a young Pokémon Trainer who must put a stop to the evil schemes of the criminal organization, Team Plasma.

Receiving positive reviews upon its launch, Pokémon Black and White soon became some of the best-selling games for the Nintendo DS, so it was unsurprising that a sequel, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, followed in 2012.

However, it seems as though our time with Black and White is far from over, as fans can expect to return to the action in 2027 with a brand-new release.

Courtesy of Sideshow, fans of Pokémon Black and Pokémon White can celebrate the game with a stunning new collectible: Hilbert with Victini. Expected to ship between April and June 2027, this collectible figure showcases Hilbert, the male protagonist of Black and White, standing beside Victini, a familiar Pokémon from the hit Nintendo franchise. First appearing in Black and White, Victini has since starred in multiple other Pokémon releases, but it is nice to see that a game-exclusive ‘mon is featured in this stunning new figure.

Hilbert with Victini comes in at a respectable £93.74 and is available for pre-order now, and you need only take a quick glimpse at the figure to see that it offers incredible detail for the price. The official item description reads:

Hilbert and Victini from Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version have joined the lineup!

Based on a newly commissioned illustration by series artist Hitoshi Ariga, Hilbert is faithfully recreated in a familiar pose, packed with details from his textured shoes and sharp gaze to his Xtransceiver.

Both Victini’s lively pose and V-shaped flames express victory!

Standing at 7.8″ (20 cm), Hilbert with Victini will definitely serve as a stunning addition to your shelf, but if you want to explore the rest of the Pokémon franchise courtesy of Sideshow, it definitely has you covered with figures of Charizard, Ultra Ball, Hilda with Tepig, and Pikachu to name just a few, and with the Pikachu figure being “life-size”, we can only imagine what that will look like upon delivery.

Additionally, with the Pokémon franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Hilbert with Victini figure is not the only Pokémon Black and Pokémon White–related announcement we have received, as fans can also look forward to some limited-time merchandise dedicated to the hit Nintendo DS title.
