The Perfect Way To Prepare For The Next 007’s Debut Is Now On Prime Video

The perfect way to prepare for the next James Bond is now officially on Prime Video, thanks to the platform’s newest updates with its streaming roster. As one of the most prolific and lastingly popular film series of all time, it’s fair to say that the 5-year-long wait we’ve had for another James Bond movie since No Time To Die concluded Daniel Craig’s time in the iconic spy role has only bolstered fan excitement about what might be next for the series.

With Craig playing a more serious version of James Bond – despite his excellent ability to provide deadpan wisecracks, and to demonstrate a more human look at the protagonist in terms of his overall arc – it’s undeniably fascinating to consider whether the franchise will follow suit with a similar approach to Bond, or whether 007 will have a more drastic rebirth, akin to some of his other reimaginings over the course of his history.

With all of this in mind, the wider filmography of the spy series is also in a unique position in terms of interest around it, as the collective timeline is even more intriguing when it comes to the lineup’s trajectory showing what could be possible for the lead character and their movies going forward.

In one of the biggest moves for streaming to take place in October, all 26 James Bond movies have come to Prime Video as of October 1, 2026, which is the biggest October arrival release-wise for Prime Video, and arguably the platform’s biggest acquisition for the whole year on several levels as well.

Given this movie lineup spans almost 60 years – with Dr. No debuting in 1962, and No Time To Die releasing in 2021 – and has seen new additions to its roster frequently throughout this time, it’s safe to say that having the entire film roster appear on a streaming service is a major matter.

It’s also one that is well-timed, as it means Prime Video is now an ideal place for people to turn to in order to watch and rewatch the series in the build up to us learning who the next actor to take on the beloved 007 mantle going forward will be, and to get a sense of how the franchise’s history may help pave a path for its future in terms of the next on-screen age for James Bond.

Conversations about who the next James Bond will be, and what kind of story approach will be taken when it comes to depicting the iconic spy on-screen next, have naturally been rife ever since Daniel Craig finished his tenure in the role as one the most beloved iterations of Bond thus far.

With it seeming like the next James Bond casting is on the relatively near horizon, it makes sense now more than ever to revisit the James Bond movie series on Prime Video or the like.

This is especially true since going through the full series is a reminder about how different many different actors have been in their time in the role – with Bond movies varying from whimsical comedy-focused romps to dark and gritty appraisals of its central action hero – and how possible it is that the franchise will have another major reconfiguring alongside its recasting of the role, which opens many doors in terms of who may be the ideal candidate for the role.
