Reacher has a new fight on Prime Video’s streaming charts, and it comes after the action thriller series’ future got an official decision. Alan Ritchson has made Reacher one of Prime Video’s biggest shows, with every new season of the action hit trending worldwide on the streaming service for a long time. Reacher returned in 2026 with the release of season 4 on August 12, 2026. Recently, on September 16, Reacher season 4 concluded with its finale, “Cut.” That day was also very important for Prime Video’s slate of releases and Ritchson’s Jack Reacher for a completely different reason.

That would be the release of the first Reacher spin-off, Neagley, which stars Maria Sten as her Reacher character Frances Neagley. Not only did Prime Video release all eight episodes of Neagley season 1 on the streaming service on the same day, aka the day of the Reacher season 4 finale, but Ritchson also reprised his role of Jack Reacher as a guest star, further helping boost the new action thriller series to exciting heights. Now, Reacher has another battle in front of it, as the Prime Video action thriller series fights the Star Wars replacement movie, The Love Hypothesis, in the coveted chart.

Reacher Can’t Quite Bounce Back On Amazon’s Top 10

At the time of writing, Reacher stands as the 3rd most-watched release on Prime Video’s Top 10 Overall chart in the United States, which includes both the movies and TV shows that are trending on the streaming service, according to data from FlixPatrol. Reacher sits one spot below the new Prime Video original movie The Love Hypothesis, who stands tall at 2nd, with the Reacher spin-off Neagley at 1st. The Love Hypothesis stars Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman in a charming story with a fake dating scenario that started as a Star Wars fan fiction about Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren and Daisy Ridley’s Rey Skywalker.

Based on the Ali Hazelwood novel of the same name, The Love Hypothesis was released on Prime Video on September 23. The romance quickly came to dethrone Reacher and Neagley, taking Prime Video’s #1 overall spot on September 25. Since then, Neagley has managed to surpass The Love Hypothesis again, but Ritchson’s Reacher has yet to do the same. As such, Reacher is now fighting a battle with Prime Video’s Star Wars replacement on the streaming service’s overall chart in the US, and it is currently losing, as the action thriller series has ranked 3rd for six days in a row.

What Do We Know About The Show’s Future?

While the action series fights an interesting battle on Prime Video’s charts, Reacher season 6’s fate has already been decided. While season 5 has not even finished filming, Ritchson’s hit series is already confirmed to come back for two more seasons, with Reacher season 6 set to adapt Lee Child’s Make Me, the 20th novel in the Jack Reacher franchise. Given how there are 30 core novels in the Jack Reacher franchise, as well as how Ritchson’s show and now the Neagley spin-off are global hits, there are no signs that Reacher will end anytime soon.
