Arsenal are reportedly considering a surprise move for Brentford winger Kevin Schade when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Gunners signed a new left winger in Christos Tzolis over the summer and he has fared brilliantly with four assists across all competitions.
However, the club are keen on landing another specialist for the role and reports claim that Schade is one of the top names on their radar for January.
The German has made a brilliant start to the campaign with the Bees, and has already netted three goals in six appearances for the west London side.
Arsenal have been closely monitoring the 24-year-old and could make a formal approach for his services at the beginning of the New Year.
Brentford, on their part, are aware of the increasing interest in Schade, and are prepared to hand him an improved contract to end the speculation.
Schade could lean towards a big club move over extending his stay.
