As the best-selling video game release of 2023, it is hard to believe that Hogwarts Legacy has any faults. With Avalanche Software choosing to direct its attention straight to a sequel rather than potential DLC, fans have been left with a base single-player campaign and not much else. However, thanks to said fans, our time with Hogwarts Legacy is far from over.

That is because its modding community has been working tirelessly over the past three years to bring new and exciting content to Hogwarts Legacy, with the majority of it being completely free to download and enjoy. From simple cosmetic updates to all-out quest lines, dungeons, and even multiplayer modes, this community is the sole reason why Hogwarts Legacy continues to flourish to this day, and this brand-new release is no exception.

Created by maxshig_dev over on Curse Forge, World Weaver is a mod unlike any other for Hogwarts Legacy, allowing players to “completely change the world to make it look how you want it to look.” As such, every object in the world is now yours to control and place. “Along with placing new objects, you can edit the existing map to your liking. The best part is that everything saves!”

Quite literally introducing a build mode to Hogwarts Legacy, this ambitious mod has understandably been received well by players, going on to welcome almost 5,000 downloads since it was first uploaded earlier this year. Additionally, World Weaver has also continued to be worked on and updated, with its most recent update launching just six days ago.

With its developer planning on introducing triggerable objects that allow players to hit walls with spells to open passages or place custom interactive buttons to open doors, as well as even more objects, NPC and enemy spawning, and UI improvements, World Weaver is far from done, so there has never been a better time to download and share your feedback.
