Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Crystal Palace left-back Tyrell Mitchell ahead of a possible approach in January.
The Red Devils were keen on landing a new left-back during the summer transfer window, but could not find a suitable solution before the deadline.
They are expected to address the issue at the turn of the year and Football Insider claim that they are keeping a close eye on Mitchell’s situation.
The Englishman has been a key player for the Eagles in the Premier League but could be on the move soon with his contract expiring next summer.
Mitchell has yet to be convinced to pen a new contract by the south London outfit and could be sold for a knockdown fee in the next window.
United are not alone in the pursuit and could face competition from Liverpool, who are not fully convinced regarding Milos Kerkez.
The Reds are open to landing another starting left-back.
