Carrick on Man Utd draw vs Fulham

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has sent his reaction following the club’s 1-1 Premier League draw against Fulham on the road on Sunday.

The Red Devils had one of their best attacking performances of the campaign, but goalkeeper Bernd Leno made three exceptional saves to deny them.

A Lisandro Martinez own goal put Fulham ahead, but United managed to pull level at the death as Matheus Cunha scored after a wicked deflection.

Speaking after the game, Carrick said that his team can learn a lot from the result and acknowledged that there were some good signs in the draw.

He said: “I think we can take a lot from today. I think we can learn a lot as well. We can be better at certain things, that is pretty clear, but there were some good signs today.”

With the result, United remain 12th in the table with five points, and they are already 10 behind Manchester City for the top spot in the standings.
