Arteta makes four changes vs Sunderland

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made four changes to the starting line-up for the Premier League clash against Sunderland tonight.

The Gunners are currently second in the standings with nine points and can go top of the table with a positive result over the Black Cats.

Arsenal shared the spoils against Sunderland on the road last season (2-2) and will be aiming for a victory at the Stadium of Light this time.

Ahead of the game, Arteta has made four changes to the XI.

Piero Hincapie makes way for Riccardo Calafiori in the left-back position. The Italian has made a fine start to the season with three goal contributions.

Myles Lewis-Skelly comes into the midfield, replacing Mikel Merino.

In the attack, Christos Tzolis and Kai Havertz replace Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres in the left wing and centre-forward roles.

Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs Sunderland: Raya; White, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Lewis-Skelly; Saka, Odegaard, Tzolis; Havertz.
