Man Utd to pursue deal for Belgian left-back?

Seys to United?

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a winter approach for Club Brugge left-back Joaquin Seys.

The Red Devils are expected to strengthen their left-back department after failing to do so in the summer.

Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall was the prime target, but the Magpies made it clear that he was not for sale.

They made a late move for Manchester City’s Rayan Ait-Nouri, but could not agree on a suitable transfer deal.

Belgian star Seys was another option on their radar, and it is claimed that United could seek to bring him to Old Trafford at the turn of the year.

Brugge sold Christos Tzolis to Arsenal this summer, but they decided to keep hold of Seys and Nicolo Tresoldi for another season.

The pair have been promised transfers at the end of the campaign, but United could test their resolve for Seys in January.

Brugge are unlikely to let him go on the cheap and could demand at least £35m if they open the door for a transfer.
