Kroupi to Arsenal in January?

Arsenal are considering a move for Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi during the winter transfer window, according to The Independent.

The Gunners did not sign a marquee forward during the summer, but they are likely to make amends at the beginning of the New Year.

Kroupi was linked with the north London giants earlier this year, but the speculation cooled down after his foot injury in pre-season.

The Frenchman may not return until November at least, but this has not stopped speculation linking the Gunners with the player.

Kroupi is primarily a striker by trade, but he has shown his versatility. He can operate as a number 10 or on the left side of the attack too.

The 20-year-old would ideally like to return to Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, but that route is no longer on the cards, as per reports.

Arsenal seem the most interested in his services at the moment but may have to pay a hefty figure of £90m to persuade Bournemouth to sell.

Kroupi netted 13 goals in the Premier League last campaign.
