Kroupi to Arsenal on?

Arsenal could turn their attention to signing Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi when the transfer window reopens in the New Year, according to journalist Miguel Delaney.

The Gunners sought to land a marquee forward during the closing stages of the summer transfer window, but could not find anyone useful after rejections from Julián Álvarez and Vinícius Júnior.

Kroupi was a long-term target for the Gunners, but a move was never on the cards after he picked up a lengthy foot injury in pre-season with the Cherries.

It is now revealed that Arsenal are still monitoring Kroupi’s situation and could seek to land his services when the transfer window reopens this winter.

The French ace netted 13 goals in his debut Premier League campaign last term, and it appeared he would leave the Cherries for £100m this summer.

The untimely setback ended any genuine transfer interest, but Delaney claims that Arsenal will almost certainly return for the ex-Lorient youngster.
