Como to land Sanchez on loan

Serie A outfit Como have reached an agreement to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez on loan, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Spaniard had been the Blues’ first-choice goalkeeper for the past few years, but he was deemed surplus to requirements after Emiliano Martinez‘s arrival from Aston Villa this month.

Sanchez was completely dropped from the squad for the recent win over Brighton & Hove Albion, and he is now expected to leave the Blues on a temporary basis for the campaign.

Como previously signed defender Trevoh Chalobah from the west London giants, and have now agreed a loan deal for Sanchez. The move will not include any option to buy next summer.

Chelsea are not done yet in the transfer market. They are planning to bring in a couple of midfielders if Enzo Fernandez leaves for Manchester City.

There could be another exit or two. Tosin Adarabioyo is attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs are likewise keen on Mykhailo Mudryk.
