Bradley Barcola says winning the Premier League is “one of my biggest dreams in my life” after joining Liverpool for £123 million.

The Reds have signed the 23-year-old on a long-term contract as part of a deal worth £106m plus £17m in potential add-ons.

“It took a long time but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play,” Barcola told Liverpool.

“I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life.

Barcola had two years remaining on his PSG contract but made it clear he would not extend his stay with the reigning European champions and was excluded from their Ligue 1 opener against Rennes, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Barcola predominantly operates on the left wing but can play on the opposite flank. He faced competition for places from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue last season and was often used from the bench during the latter stages of PSG’s Champions League triumph.

Barcola made 49 appearances in all competitions during 2025/26, contributing 13 goals and seven assists as PSG retained the Ligue 1 title and continued their success in Europe.

The Lyon academy product registered 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 appearances for his former club.

Barcola also played a major role for France at the 2026 World Cup, featuring in all eight of their matches and scoring three goals.

The move could also have consequences for Cody Gakpo, who has been linked with Tottenham throughout the summer and has attracted interest from Manchester City.

Liverpool identified Barcola as their leading target to replace the prolific Mohamed Salah, who left Anfield at the end of last season.

When does the summer transfer window 2026 close?
