David Moyes insisted Everton are in no hurry to sell their best players amid speculation linking Iliman Ndiaye with Manchester City, and also refused to address talk of Jack Grealish returning to Merseyside.

Ndiaye has excelled for Everton since joining from Marseille in 2024, scoring 17 goals and providing four assists.

The winger has reportedly attracted interest from City after they sold Savio to Tottenham for an initial £75m, though Everton are said to value Ndiaye at £80million.

Asked about the speculation, Moyes indicated he does not fear imminently losing the Senegal international to their Premier League rivals.

“As far as I know, we’ve got nothing to be concerned about, we’ve had no contact from any club,” Moyes said in his press conference ahead of Everton’s trip to Bournemouth.

“Somebody told me we had contact with Al-Hilal during the summer, we had nothing from them. There’s a lot stuff that floats around which is not always true. Maybe this is true but certainly the stuff previous wasn’t.”

City attacking midfielder Grealish is said to be of interest to several Premier League clubs after he scored two goals and registered six assists while on loan at Everton last season.

But Moyes rejected the opportunity to talk about a potential return for the 30-year-old.

 “I wouldn’t talk about individual players at other clubs,” Moyes added.

“Jack [Grealish] isn’t at our club. He was brilliant for us, great boy, but it’s wrong for me to talk about him if he’s at another club.

“We’re certainly not in a hurry to sell our best players, that’s for sure.”
