Jesus to Gala?

Turkish champions Galatasaray have emerged as potential candidates to sign Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus before the transfer deadline next week.

The Brazil international has been deemed surplus to requirements and he has been left out of the first two games of the new campaign at Arsenal.

He is free to pursue a new challenge and reports claim that Galatasaray are weighing up an approach for the 29-year-old before the window closes.

The Super Lig holders already have a marquee striker in Victor Osimhen, but are still open to landing Jesus because he can also play as a winger.

Arsenal are prepared to sell him for around £17 million, and it remains to be seen whether Galatasaray can agree on personal terms with Jesus.

The Turkish giants were previously keen on landing Gabriel Martinelli from the Gunners, but the 25-year-old refused to discuss contract terms.

Martinelli is currently on the cusp of joining Al-Hilal instead. The attacker could sign for the Saudi Pro League giants in a record sale of £57 million.
