Mudryk wanted by Leeds
Football Transfer Centre

Leeds United have made a loan proposal for Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, which has been swiftly rejected, according to Teamtalk.

The Ukraine international is eligible to play again after serving a drugs ban, but he does not feature in the short-term plans of the Blues.

The west London giants acknowledge that he needs to play regularly to get back to his best, and are prepared to send him out on loan this term

Chelsea ideally prefer a loan move to another Premier League outfit. Leeds have made a proposal, but it has not satisfied the Blues’ hierarchy.

There is an acknowledgement that Mudryk needs to play regularly at the current phase of his career, something which Leeds can’t guarantee.

Ipswich Town and Coventry City are also keeping tabs on the talented attacker, while some European sides are likewise keen on his services.

Chelsea are likely to choose a loan club based on playing time guarantees. Mudryk has opened the door for a temporary switch elsewhere.
