Arsenal hold a genuine interest in landing Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen before the transfer window closes.
The Gunners presently have three strikers in Kai Havertz, Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus in their squad.
Jesus is widely expected to head for the exit door, and reports claim that Gyokeres could likewise move on.
The Swede is attracting high-profile interest and could move if the Gunners were to land another marquee marksman.
Amidst this, it is claimed that the Gunners have a firm interest in landing Osimhen and initial talks have been held.
No formal bid has been placed on the table, but things could speed up if Gyokeres receives a firm offer to leave.
Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are keeping tabs on the Swede, who netted 21 goals for the Gunners last campaign.
He is not looking for a way out of the club, but would be open to a new challenge if the hierarchy decide to cash in.
