View Arsenal summer 2026 transfer targets
RB Leipzig are one of the clubs interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri this summer, according to Standard Sport.
The Gunners loaned out Nwaneri to Marseille during the back end of last season following his lack of regular first-team football.
The 19-year-old struggled to impress sufficiently. It was a similar theme during the 3-1 friendly loss to Real Betis with Arsenal this week.
It is now claimed that Leipzig have expressed interest in the young Englishman, but Arsenal are still undecided over his future.
The Gunners are still to decide whether to loan out or sell Nwaneri. They may seek a buy-back and sell-on clause if he leaves permanently.
Nwaneri has been committed to the north London giants, but he could be open to securing regular playing time to further his development.
Arsenal are more likely to sell or loan him abroad. Leipzig could be a perfect club for him, given their track record with young talents.
