Turkish giants eyeing move for Arsenal winger

Turkish giants Galatasaray could focus on landing Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli if they don’t succeed in signing AC Milan ace Rafael Leao.

The Turkish champions have been locked in negotiations with the Rossoneri for Leao in recent weeks, but have yet to find a breakthrough over the fee.

Hence, they are more likely to pursue an alternative, and Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Martinelli is one of the top names on their radar at the moment.

Martinelli had a decent 2025/26 season at Arsenal with 18 goal contributions, but his league impact was minimal with one goal and four assists.

Arsenal recently replaced Leandro Trossard with Christos Tzolis on the left wing, and seem open to landing a marquee replacement for Martinelli as well.

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior was the prime target for the north London giants, but he ended up putting pen to paper on a long-term deal at Los Blancos, thereby handing a blow to the Premier League holders.
