Z-A Free Download Officially Yours Until August 6

As one of the most recent mainline Pokémon entries, it is no surprise that thousands of players are still flocking to Lumiose City in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, especially considering the fact that it is still welcoming free monthly updates.

That is the case for Season 14 and the Ranked Battles that will launch alongside it from July 16 to August 6. This will give players the opportunity to dive into heaps of new content in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, including all Flying-type Pokémon providing Feathers and all previous Ranked Battle Mega Stones returning as Ranked Rewards.

Now underway, the Ranked Battle event will cause increased drops for Bottle Caps, Seeds of Mastery, and Nuggets, but perhaps most importantly, any Pokémon who are not Flying-types will not be eligible for use. However, Mega Evolutions of said Flying-types will also be accessible. Last but not least, Rayquaza and Yveltal are the only Legendary Pokémon you will be able to have in your team.

Overall, the rules for Pokémon Legends: Z-A‘s Season 14 Ranked Battles are as follows:

A player’s team cannot contain two Pokémon with the same Lumiose or Hyperspace Pokédex number.
A player’s team cannot contain more than two Restricted Legendary Pokémon per team.
All Pokémon will have their stats scaled to Level 50.
Two Pokémon cannot hold the same item.

If you are anything like me, you will be the most interested in the rewards up for grabs in Pokémon Legends: Z-A up until 6 August. By partaking in Ranked Battles, you will be able to possibly earn the following rewards: Blazikenite, Swampertite, Sceptilite, Baxcalibrite, Chesnaughttite, Delphoxite, Greninjite, and Feathers. By reaching Rank S in the Ranked Battles, you will be able to earn all previous Mega Stones, so if you are missing out on a few, this is the perfect opportunity. Not only that, but by ascending through the various ranks throughout Season 14, you can earn up to 650 Feathers.

This is just one example of the various content updates that have been dropped for Pokémon Legends: Z-A since its launch back in 2025.
