Netflix is officially adapting a 44-year-old bestselling memoir into a major series shortly after the author’s work served as the basis for an Oscar-winning film.

According to Deadline, Happy Old Year (1982) by Marcelo Rubens Paiva (the author of I’m Still Here) is being adapted into a series by Netflix.
