Mario Kart Double Dash Free Download Available To Grab Now

It really does feel as though Nintendo has more going on than ever before, and it’s remarkably easy to interact with your favorite games from the company, wherever you might be. For most, that simply means locking into the Nintendo Switch 2 when you’re traveling around, but the fun is far from stopping there.

One of the most underrated options has quickly become Nintendo Music, which, as the name suggests, allows players to listen to some of the classic and iconic soundtracks from years gone by. With new titles being added to the service all the time, it has become an increasingly compelling option, and Mario Kart is the next game in its sights.

As first reported by GoNintendo, Nintendo Music have added free roam tracks from the Mario Kart World soundtrack, specifically from Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Mario Kart: Double Dash, have been added to Nintendo Music. Anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online membership should now be able to use the service to listen to the tracks, spicing up any potential commute you might have.

As you might expect, those are far from the only options on the streaming app right now, with hundreds of tracks from across all of Nintendo’s eras, all in beautiful high definition quality. Over the last year or more, they have added everything from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword to Donkey Kong Bananza, with more arriving all the time.

If you’re yet to use the app, it’s surprising just how complete and user friendly of an offering that it is. You can loop songs or extend select tracks to 15, 30 or 60 minutes, so you don’t have to muck around changing things, while it’s also possible to download songs for offline listening, if you’re getting on a plane or in a similar internet-free situation.

Lastly, it’s also possible to filter out spoilers from songs that may otherwise ruin key moments of a game, so you don’t even have to worry about ruining the title that has been stuck in your backlog for years.

Other than that, there are some very exciting projects coming down the Nintendo pipeline, including the Ocarina of Time Remake, and the first game of the tenth Pokémon generation, in Winds and Waves. If all of those turn out to be as good as fans are hoping for, then it could be one of the best times in the last forty years to be a fan.
