Rashford only wants Barcelona

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are set to miss out on signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford this summer, according to The Daily Mail.

The Englishman spent the previous season on loan with Barcelona, where he was hugely impressive with 14 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.

Barcelona have the option to purchase him for 26 million pounds in the summer, but they are instead looking to negotiate a lesser transfer fee.

Arsenal and Spurs have enquired about the 28-year-old in the meantime, but they have been told that the attacker only wants to rejoin Barcelona.

United have been informed the same by his entourage, and it appears the Red Devils will eventually negotiate fresh payment terms with the Blaugrana.

The Catalan giants are presently focused on landing a new striker to replace Robert Lewandowski, and could return for Rashford after the World Cup.

Rashford is part of England’s squad at the global tournament, and he could have a huge role to play. He could be a starter on the left wing.
