Xbox Game Pass been kind to science fiction fans in 2026. Star Wars Outlaws was added to the subscription service in January, Cyberpunk 2077 was added in March, and Dune: Awakening arrives in September as a day-one release. Now, another day-one game is set to launch on June 11, and sci-fi fans should definitely keep their eyes peeled.

Thanks to the official Xbox site, we have a pretty good idea of what game releases to expect throughout the month of June. This includes a number of day-one releases like Solarpunk on June 8, as well as some major additions like Persona 5 Royal on June 9. This is just Wave 1, though, so expect to see even more games being added around the middle of the month. June 11 is one of the biggest days for Game Pass, adding three new titles on that date alone, including a day-one that sounds perfect for sci-fi fans.

STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions will be launching on June 11, 2026, and is a confirmed day-one release for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Billed as a Game Preview, it’ll be available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Cloud gaming. And if you belong to Ultimate or PC Game Pass, then you can check it out at no additional cost.

This is a brand-new game set in the Astroneer universe. Players can explore deep space and complete planet-wide objectives (that’s where the “Expeditions” part comes into play), but there’s also a focus on cooperative gameplay, so think of it as a co-op No Man’s Sky with Astroneer‘s animated artstyle, complete with its usual bright and vivid worlds. Overall, it’s a pretty nice month for Xbox Game Pass members so far. It’ll be interesting to see what Wave 2 has in store for us once that annoucement is made later in June.
