View Chelsea summer 2026 transfer targets
Chelsea are back in the hunt to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Blues were keen on landing the Frenchman prior to the Club World Cup last summer, but could not find an agreement with the Rossoneri.
They ended up sticking with Robert Sanchez between the sticks, but the decision has not proved worthwhile during the current campaign.
The Spaniard has been guilty of several errors that have led to goals, and the Blues are now contemplating a change between the sticks.
Sunderland‘s Robin Roefs has been earmarked as a possible target, but the Blues could also return for the services of Maignan this summer.
The former Lille man signed a new long-term contract with the Rossoneri until 2031 earlier this year, but this has not ended the speculation.
Chelsea are aware of the increased valuation with the renewal and it may take at least 35 million euros to prise him away from the Rossoneri.
