World of Warcraft fans have plenty to talk about right now, with Blizzard’s newly released Midnight expansion generating major hype thanks to long-awaited features like housing and new endgame content, while rumors surrounding a potential “Classic+” version of WoW continue to fuel speculation online.

Sideshow and Activision Blizzard have announced the summer 2026 launch of the officially licensed The Lich King & Invincible collectible statue, a massive 26.77-inch (68 cm) tall LED-lit sculpture of The Lich King on his iconic steed. The statue is officially available for pre-order now at a whopping $1,640 USD and is expected to ship between June and August 2026. It’s a beautifully crafted recreation of the moment Arthas, aka the Lich King, “began his conquest of Azeroth with the cursed blade Frostmourne in hand.”

The statue includes two interchangeable head sculpts, allowing collectors to display Arthas with his flowing hair or wearing the Helm of Domination. Invincible’s piercing blue eyes glow with icy brilliance, enhanced by built-in LED effects that highlight his danger and mystery. Additional LED lighting is integrated into the frozen-themed base, recreating a chilling atmosphere that blurs the line between Northrend and reality.

Fans of the franchise will instantly recognize The Lich King as one of the most noteworthy villains in Warcraft history. He’s made appearances across the franchise, most notably in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and Warcraft 3, where we witnessed Arthas’ tragic transformation from a noble prince into the corrupted ruler of the Scourge.

During the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, he served as the central villain throughout Northrend. Fans will also recognize the character from appearances across gaming culture, including memes, collectibles, YouTube retrospectives, and Blizzard crossover titles like Heroes of the Storm.

This premium statue is one of several World of Warcraft-inspired creations available on Sideshow and officially licensed by Activision Blizzard, with dozens of incredibly unique collectibles featuring characters from across the franchise. While the Lich King and Invincible statue may be on the higher end in terms of cost, there are multiple other Lich King collectibles available at more affordable prices as well.
