Confirmed team news and starting XIs for Turf Moor clash

Aston Villa can all but secure their place in the Champions League for next season with a win at Burnley this afternoon.

Unai Emery’s men will climb up to fourth and move six points clear of sixth-placed Bournemouth with victory at Turf Moor.

Villa can also secure a place in Europe’s elite club competition by winning the Europa League. They advanced to a final meeting with Freiburg on Thursday night after hammering Nottingham Forest 4-0.

Villa’s successes are in stark contrast to the situation Burnley find themselves in.

The Clarets have again found the going tough in the top flight and their relegation has long since been confirmed.

They have won just once in the Premier League since October.
