Manchester United winger Matheus Cunha could be ruled out of the Premier League game against Brentford at Old Trafford with a minor injury.

The Brazil international sustained the setback against Chelsea last weekend, and he was subsequently absent from a midweek training session.

It was initially suggested that his absence was due to recovery, but reports now claim that the Brazilian could miss the Bees game altogether.

If that ends up being the case, Bryan Mbeumo could be tasked with operating from the left wing, with Amad Diallo reinstated on the opposite end.

Cunha scored the crucial winning goal for United against the Blues, and his absence would be a setback for the Red Devils in tomorrow’s encounter.

United need a solitary victory to secure Champions League football and will be aiming to achieve the feat against Brentford in front of their fans.

They have lost their last two meetings versus the Bees, but both were on the road. The club have a 100 percent win record at home against them since 2021.
