IPL 2026: Ishan Kishan’s girlfriend Aditi Hundia celebrates Praful Hinge’s dream debut for SRH against RR

The 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) witnessed one of its most clinical performances during the 21st match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on April 13. While Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) entered the contest looking to solidify their standing, the night belonged to a debutant who turned the world of cricket upside down. Facing the formidable Rajasthan Royals (RR), SRH secured a commanding 57-run victory, but the headlines were stolen by the ‘Orange Army’s’ newest sensation and the vocal support he received from the SRH family’s inner circle.

Aditi Hundia applauds Praful Hinge’s historic triple-wicket maiden against RR

In the high-octane atmosphere of an IPL night, support from the stands often becomes the driving force for players. During the RR chase, social media went into a frenzy as Aditi Hundia, the girlfriend of SRH captain Ishan Kishan, took to her Instagram stories to celebrate the spectacular arrival of Praful Hinge.

The image shared by Aditi captured a live television broadcast of Hinge walking back to his mark, looking calm yet lethal after dismantling the RR top order. Her reaction, a simple yet powerful Omggggg 🔥, perfectly encapsulated the shock and awe felt by the thousands in attendance and millions watching at home.

Hinge’s debut was nothing short of a fairy tale. Entrusted with the ball early, he produced a masterclass in swing and precision. Aditi’s post highlighted the moment Hinge ripped through the heart of the Rajasthan lineup, including the dismissals of Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius for golden ducks. As the partner of the team’s skipper, Aditi’s public acknowledgment of the debutant’s success underscored the morale and camaraderie within the SRH camp, which clearly translated into their dominant on-field performance.

Hinge and Sakib Hussain power SRH to comfortable win against RR in IPL 2026

While the first half of the match was defined by Kishan’s captain’s knock of 91 off 44 balls, which propelled SRH to a massive total of 216/6, it was the bowling unit that truly silenced the Royals.

The Rajasthan Royals’ chase began in disastrous fashion. Hinge delivered one of the greatest opening overs in IPL history, finishing with figures of 4/34 in his 4 overs. He accounted for the early wickets of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Jurel, Pretorius, leaving RR reeling at a staggering 1-3 in the very first over. Hinge’s ability to find movement off the surface proved too much for the visitors, as he later added the prized scalp of RR skipper Riyan Parag.

Complementing Hinge’s opening burst was the relentless Sakib Hussain, who dismantled the middle and lower order. Sakib’s efficiency was remarkable, finishing with 4/24 and a miserly economy of 6.00. He struck at crucial intervals, dismissing the dangerous Yashasvi Jaiswal and eventually cleaning up the tail by taking the wickets of Jofra Archer and Ravi Bishnoi in quick succession.

Despite a fighting 69 from Donovan Ferreira and a steady 45 from Ravindra Jadeja, the early damage inflicted by Hinge and Sakib was too severe to overcome. RR was eventually bundled out for 159 in 19 overs, handing SRH a 57-run victory. The match will be remembered as the night the ‘Orange Army’ unearthed a new pace duo capable of terrorizing the best in the league.
